Churro Saltine Toffee is an irresistible sweet and salty dessert that perfectly balances the crunch of saltine crackers with a rich layer of buttery toffee, chocolate, and a hint of cinnamon. This delightful treat is ideal for parties, holiday gatherings, or as a quick snack at home.

Ingredients

  • Saltine crackers
  • Unsalted butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Cinnamon
  • Granulated sugar
  • Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt unsalted butter and brown sugar while stirring until it boils. Let boil for 2–3 minutes without stirring.
  4. Pour the hot toffee mixture over the crackers and bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top, allowing them to melt.
  6. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl; sprinkle over melted chocolate.
  7. Finish with a light sprinkle of sea salt.
  8. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
