  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for caramel sauce)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for caramel sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie layer by melting butter and mixing with sugar and eggs. Combine dry ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into a greased springform pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  3. For the cheesecake layer, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, add sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Once the brownie layer cools slightly, pour the cheesecake mixture over it and bake for another 30–35 minutes.
  4. Prepare caramel sauce by melting sugar until golden brown; stir in butter and heavy cream slowly, then add sea salt.
  5. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce over the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
